We make crystalline diamond.
The company DiaCCon offers crystalline CVD diamond coatings on metallic or ceramic components, in particular diamond-coated mechanical seals and bearings and diamond electrodes.
In addition to straightforward job coating, our primary focus is on joint process development with the customer in order to produce individual, diamond-coated components that are ideally adapted to withstand extreme loads.
The employees at the company DiaCCon GmbH are able to make use of the experience gained from over twentyfive years of research in collaboration with the Chair of Materials Science and Metals Technology (WTM) in Erlangen, and thus come up with a coherent concept for almost any application. More...

DiaCCon is participating as a guest in this year’s IFAT India, Mumbai. We will be delighted to discuss and provide information on the electrochemical treatment of difficult wastewaters with the advanced oxidation process (AOP), and the electrochemical synthesis of chemicals with high oxidation potential by means of boron doped diamond electrodes.

DiaCCon at the EWWI - Cairo
DiaCCon participates for the first time at EWWI from 01 Oct - 03 Oct in Cairo/Egypt. We are very curious about the special challenges in the field of water treatment in this country.

The lights are on…
In the last few weeks, great strides forward have been made thanks to a great effort by everyone involved. All the components have now been fitted and tested. This has allowed us to elicit the first signs of life from our new coating machine.

DiaCCon supplies diamond electrodes for clean-up work in Fukushima
JAPAN: The ICUS company (formerly EICC) has set itself the task of cleaning the radioactively contaminated oil/water mixture from the damaged facilities at FUKUSHIMA DAIICHI. The system works with the Advanced Oxidation Process and uses diamond electrodes from DiaCCon.

DiaCCon at IE Expo in Shanghai
After a long period without any trade shows, DiaCCon is delighted to be back in Asia. This time we will be in China at the IE Expo in Shanghai from 19 – 21 April 2023. We would be delighted to meet many of our Chinese partners again in person.

The centrepiece has arrived!
DiaCCon recently celebrated a big day. The vacuum chamber for our new coating facility has been delivered. It was very impressive to finally see the result of months of joint development work sitting on the back of a truck in the early-morning sunlight.

For a customer, we were able to supply a particularly interesting test installation for treating difficult wastewaters with diamond electrodes. Thanks to the compact structure, it includes all the components that are needed for an industrial installation and is largely parameterizable. This means process development and upscaling can be done easily.
